Moist & Fluffy Honey Cake – A Perfect Tea-Time Treat

Honey Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

250g all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp cinnamon powder
¼ tsp salt
2 eggs
150g honey
100g sugar
120ml vegetable oil
120ml strong brewed tea or coffee (cooled)
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F) and grease a cake tin.

2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

3. Prepare wet ingredients: In another bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in the honey, sugar, oil, tea (or coffee), and vanilla extract until smooth.

4. Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until you get a smooth batter.

5. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and bake for 40–50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

6. Cool & Serve: Let the cake cool before slicing. Enjoy!
