Here’s a simple and original recipe for Air Fryer Honey Mustard Salmon:

Ingredients:

2 salmon fillets (approximately 6 ounces each)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Cooking spray or a light brush of olive oil

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Salmon:

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.

Season both sides with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

2. Make the Honey Mustard Sauce:

In a small bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, and garlic powder.

Mix until well blended.

3. Coat the Salmon:

Brush the honey mustard sauce generously over the top and sides of each salmon fillet.

4. Preheat the Air Fryer:

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

5. Cook the Salmon:

Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with a small amount of olive oil to prevent sticking.

Place the coated salmon fillets in the basket, skin-side down if the skin is on.

Air fry for 7-9 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

6. Serve:

Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer.

Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh parsley or a slice of lemon.
