Ingredients:
1 cup fresh blackberries (you can use frozen, but thaw and drain them first)
3 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or baking dish with butter.
2. Arrange Blackberries: Spread the blackberries evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish.
3. Make the Batter: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined. Add the flour, salt, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until the batter is smooth.
4. Pour and Bake: Pour the batter over the blackberries. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes or until the clafoutis is puffed and golden, and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
5. Cool and Serve: Let the clafoutis cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
