Essential ingredients for making millet curd rice

1.You have to take 1/2 cup milk

2.You have to take 2 1/2 cups of clean water

3.3 cups well beaten curd

4.Take 3 tbsp capsicum

5.3 tablespoons finely chopped onion

6.2 teaspoon finely chopped coriander

7.1 cup freshly grated carrots

8.1 cup freshly grated cucumber

9.You have to take 1 cup of foxtail millet (Kangni).

10.Salt to taste as per taste

These ingredients are to be taken for tempering of millet curd rice:

1.You have to take 2/21 teaspoon of oil

2. you have to take 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds.

3.2 spoons of black Gram

4.2 spoons of Chickpea lentil

5.You have to take 2 red chillies

6.Asafoetida 1/2 teaspoon

7.Peanuts 2 tablespoons

8.2 finely chopped green chillies

9.Fresh curry leaves 6-8

Method to make millet curd rice

1.Put the washed millet in a clean vessel and then add 2 1/2 cups of clean water in it. After that, cook it well for 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye on the millet and along with this, remember that we have to cook the millet properly. We have to cook it on medium flame, after that when the millet is cooked well, we have to keep it in another vessel to cool down.

2. When the millet cools down, we have to mash it well with the help of a spoon. If you want, you can also mash it well with your hands. up you Beaten curd and the vegetables we had prepared, carrots, onions, grated cucumber, green capsicum, green coriander. Now mix all these things well.

3. Now add salt and milk to the curd mixture and then mix it well. If you want your food to be more beneficial for your body and good for your health, then you can replace milk with buttermilk Can be mixed. Now keep it aside.

4.Take a clean pan, now pour oil in it, after that add mustard seeds, let the mustard splutter well, then add gram dal, urad dal, peanuts, asafoetida, red chilli, curry leaves, green chillies. putting everything in Well, you have to fry them for a few seconds till they are cooked, because all the ingredients should lose their rawness and they should become completely crispy which you will like after eating.

5. Now add the prepared  tempering  to the millet curd rice and mix it well so that the tadka gets mixed well with the prepared millet curd rice and it is ready.millet curd rice. Now you can eat it.
